Next Monday another group of celebrities of TV, movies, sports, the internet and the world of pop culture will “waltz” their way to ABC’s dancefloor for this fall’s premiere of Dancing with the Stars. The show has been known to feature controversial stars but also does its fair share of featuring people of faith as well including last season’s former Olympic softball pictcher Jennie Finch Daigle, Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson, Facts of Life’s Lisa Welchel and Fuller House’s Candace Cameron Bure. This season will feature another Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon who is a known devout Catholic, former gymnast Olympian Mary Lou Retton (who once stared in her own children’s show, Mary Lou’s Flip Flop Shop on TBN) and former Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider (who has had his own controversial life including his recent messy divorce. He is known for becoming a born again Christian while living with Johnny Cash in 1998). This season also features a “Bachelor Nation” favorite, an attendant of the Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and others. It should make for an interesting season.
