‘How to Train Your Dragon 3’ Proves How to Finish a Trilogy

While not exactly a golden rule, it is known fact that if a movie does well in the box office, chances are good that it will be followed by sequel and more often than not, we’ve come to expect that the sequel won’t measure up to the original. Add a third movie to the mix and you’re just asking for trouble. With animated movies, the expectations are often even lower. (Is anyone really surprised that the Ice Age movies keep getting worse?) But sometimes, as is the case with the Disney/Pixar Toy Story movies, we’re pleasantly surprised. Now you can add How to Train Your Dragon to that short list too.

One thing that DreamWorks Animation has understood about this series is that the story comes first, the hijinks come later. The very first Dragon movie proved that way back in 2010 with a strong story and with each chapter that has come after it, that story just keeps getting better. ‘American Idol’ Starts Rounds of Auditions for New Season

After 15 seasons on FOX, American Idol closed up shop for good on April 7, 2016. Until it didn’t. Apparently, the show must go on … ABC ... in 2018. The American Idol bus will roll into Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for auditions taking place on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Idol winners Jordin Sparks, Kris Allen and Ruben Studdard will make a special appearance and greet lucky audition participants during the kickoff celebration of the search for America’s next superstar.

After the event, Central Florida hopefuls will still have the chance to audition via the American Idol pop-up audition kiosk, which will be at Disney Springs through September 15, 2017 during regular Disney Springs operating hours, visitors can create and submit their own audition video at the kiosk.

Meanwhile, auditions will simultaneously kick off on the West Coast in Portland, Oregon and will tour the country. In addition, participants can audition by submitting a video online as well. You must be between the ages of 15-28 to audition. For full requirements, click here.
