She took her first steps on August 22, 1960 and she fell in love with Linus, Lucy’s brother, on the next day. It was love at first sight, at least on her part. Sally has often referred to Linus as her “Sweet Baboo.” Her dedication to her man seems endless. She has missed out on “tricks and treats” by sitting in a pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin and she was incensed that Linus would snub her a Valentine’s gift in favor for his teacher, Miss Othmar. Larger Than Life ‘Jonah’ Musical One Night Event

Sight & Sound is known for their amazing biblical productions which can be seen live on stage in Lancaster, PA and Branson, MO, but now for the first time ever, their production of Jonah: On Stage! will be seen on the big screen at near you for one night only. “More than a million people come to see one of our shows every year,” says Sight & Sound CEO Matt Neff. “And now…we’re going to them.”

In partnership with Fathom Events, Jonah: On Stage! will be presented at nearly 600 movie theaters across the country on Tuesday, May 2 giving everyone who attends a virtual front row seat. The family adventure musical was filmed in Lancaster, PA and brings to life the story of stubborn Jonah in a larger-than-life fashion complete with large sailing ship and 40-foot-long whale.

Jonah: On Stage! debuted by in 2012 in Lancaster, moved to Branson for the 2014-2015 season and is currently running an encore presentation back in Pennsylvania through October 2017.

“Sight & Sound is here to engage the hearts and minds of our audiences with stories from the Bible,” says Josh Enck, executive producer of the show. “There’s a tremendous demand for these shows, but not everyone can come to our theaters So this ‘overflow’ onto movie screens is a great way to help more people have a Sight & Sound Theatres experience.”
