According to the comic strip, Charlie Brown’s sister, Sally was born on May 26, 1959 where Charlie marked the occasion by passing out chocolate cigars to his friends. She grew up quickly. She took her first steps on August 22, 1960 and she fell in love with Linus, Lucy’s brother, on the next day. It was love at first sight, at least on her part. Sally has often referred to Linus as her “Sweet Baboo.” Her dedication to her man seems endless. She has missed out on “tricks and treats” by sitting in a pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin and she was incensed that Linus would snub her a Valentine’s gift in favor for his teacher, Miss Othmar. Laura Story’s Latest, ‘Open Hands’ Releases March 3

Those who can’t get enough of Laura Story will have to wait a little longer for her 5th album, Open Hands. The Grammy award-winning artist will release her new work on March 3 but pre-orders are being taken now and two songs from the album, “Death Was Arrested” and the lead single “Open Hands,” will be given instantly.

The “Open Arms” single has been on top of Billboard’s Soft AC Chart for three weeks now and features Mac Powell from Third Day. Story also teamed up with Matt Maher and Matt Redman for the latest work as well.

Laura Story's new album, "Open Hands"Open Hands is something I’ve been learning on so many different levels," shares Story. “The crazier life gets, the more this idea of ‘open hands’ became the theme that God was teaching me. Worship in its very core begins with surrender. That’s how we really show God that He’s worth it all.”

In addition to writing music, Laura is also the author of two books, What If Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops? in 2012 and When God Doesn't Fix It, Lessons You Never Wanted to Learn; Truths You Can't Live Without released last year. Laura is a worship leader at Perimeter Church outside of Atlanta, GA and lives with her husband Martin and three children.
