Shyamalan's 'Glass' is Engaging Almost Until the End

I don’t think anyone will deny that M. Night Shyamalan is a great storyteller. He initially proved that with the release of The Sixth Sense. The symbolism of the color red, the odd scenes that made very little sense until the end of the movie and of course, the amazing twist that nobody saw coming. That incredible twist has almost been the director’s undoing. Since 1999, not one of his other movie’s endings have had the same impact, but he continues to try.

In 2000, Mr. Shyamalan hoped that lightening would strike twice with Unbreakable which also starred Bruce Willis. Like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable was a mystery only this time, the story featured the lone survivor of a train crash who left the accident without a scratch on him and an incredibly fragile, wheelchair-bound, comic book enthusiast which appeared to be the polar opposite. K-LOVE Announces Fan Award Nominees

The K-LOVE Radio Network is known for its 446 signals in 47 states and boasts of a listening audience of 14 million. Last night at the Franklin Theatre outside of Nashville, the K-LOVE announced the nominees for the 2015 Fan Awards Show. The special will be presented on May 31, 2015 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Music City.

Among the attendee’s for the press conference were President and CEO Mike Novak and CCO David Pierce, as well as host Steven Curtis Chapman, Colton Dixon, Francesca Battistelli, Matt Maher, Matthew West and Plumb.

Leading the nominations with four each, including Artist of the Year, were Newsboys and For King & Country. Additional nominees for Artist of the Year include Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, MercyMe and TobyMac. For the first time, nominees were selected and voted upon completely by fans. Voting for the 2015 K-LOVE Fan Awards will open at midnight (ET) on May 1 and will close at midnight (ET) on May 30. Nominees for Film/Television Impact, Book Impact and Sports Impact Awards will be announced at a later date.
