Director Sean Anders Talks About His Own ‘Instant Family’

INTERVIEW
Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne’s comedy/drama film, Instant Family appears to be an instant hit with both critics and audiences alike. Sure, not everyone is a fan, but I suspect that people don’t actually have kids themselves. Those that do, appreciate all of the chaos and (at times) the corniness that is a part of family life. Here’s a bit of odd news, Paramount Pictures are literally giving away the shirts off their actor’s backs. It’s true. They will be giving away 50 costumes from the upcoming “Star Trek Into Darkness” movie, which be arriving in theaters on May 17 (and a IMAX advance screening on May 15). There is a catch though. You will need to install the Star Trek app first.

The Star Trek app “employs cutting edge technology that allows users to delve deeper into the Star Trek universe by interacting directly with materials from the eagerly awaited film to auto-accomplish missions within the application,” says the studio in a recent press release. “Utilizing geo-location awareness software, image recognition technology and audio scan functions, users can collect points, see content and work their way through Starfleet Academy.” Not surprisingly, you can purchase tickets through the app as well.

So, if you are feeling lucky, download the app from the App Store and Google Play here and click the “Sweeps” button. You have until March 31 to enter.
