It's been a long two day wait for the three remaining dancing couples on Dancing with the Stars. After last night’s hour-long episode and tonight’s two and a half hours of hoopla that was filled with special musical performances by Hailee Steinfeld, OneRepublic and Lady Antebellum, a special dance number featuring Nicole Scherzinger and Colt Prattes from the upcoming made-for-TV movie, Dirty Dancing, and tribute dances from all 12 couples featured in this season, two new winners were finally awarded the coveted mirror ball trophy.

The final three couples competing (Rashad Jennings & Emma Slater, Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy and David Ross & Lindsay Arnold) also had to perform a new routine as part of a 24-Hour Fusion Challenge where the couples fused two contrasting dance styles that they’ve performed this season. They had less than 24 hours to prepare. Continue reading to see who won.

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews seemed genuinely shocked when it was announced that Normani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy came in third place. “No words” is all the pair could say before going to a commercial break. David Ross and Lindsay Arnold came in second and Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater came in first.

Over on NBC,Chris Blue was crowned the winner of season 12 of The Voice which earned him the grand prize of a recording contract. Blue was a member of Team Alicia led by Alicia Keys. The 26-year-old is from Knoxville, TN, and grew up in a family of seven in a tiny house. Blue's mother decided to put the family in a band called the Blue Family, where they sang at local churches. The band later became known as the Blue Brothers and performed across the Midwest. For the past six years, Blue has worked as a worship leader, where he met his fiancée, a cancer survivor.
