Taco Bell Debuts New Odd Food

Taco Bell announces new dessert item.
Taco Bell and Cap'n Crunch together. Why? (Taco Bell)
Taco Bell has announced its latest offering: Cap'n Crunch Delights. But it does seem like quite the match as neither Taco Bell nor Cap'n Crunch are considered health food. Here's the deal, Taco Bell describes the new sensation as “warm, light pastries, coated with fruity Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries™ cereal and filled with creamy, sweet milk icing.” They kind of look like pink chicken nuggets with sprinkles. Just saying.

And while some will find the idea of sugar cereal-inspired deep fried balls a fantastic idea, keep in mind that just two “delights” contain 170 calories (100 of them from fat), 11 grams fat (2.5 grams saturated) and 105mg of sodium. However, they do have 2 grams of protein, so there is that. Not exactly the breakfast of champions. They are available in two, four and 12 packs.

So what do you think? Will you try them?
