Best Bet:The Nightmare Before Christmas
The stop-motion animation movie isn't for everyone even though it is a Disney production. Written and directed by Tim Burton, the movie plays more like an opera than a musical. Very few lines are actually spoken and if you don't enjoy the music, you are sort of stuck. Still, you could do worse. The animation is amazing to watch and despite the dark tone, the story is still pretty sweet. In a nutshell, the story is about Jack Skellington who lives in Halloween Town who hears about Christmas town and is so intrigued, he wants to bring the festivities to his home with mixed results.
