“Overcomer” Mandisa is everywhere these days. She is currently on tour with Brandon Heath, made a recent stop at the Dove Awards, where she won the “UPLIFT Someone” award from UP Network, and she made her Grand Ole Opry debut on last Tuesday.

Mandisa was in Nashville for the fifth annual “Opry Goes Pink” show in support of Women Rock For The Cure™. She was just one of many talented ladies there including LeAnn Rimes, Amy Grant, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan and Natalie Grant. As you can imagine, Women Rock For The Cure™ supports breast cancer awareness.

(Director, Marketing and Communications Grand Ole Opry),
Mandisa and 650 AM WSM's Bill Cody.

Just like many of you, it was time for some fall cleaning at Writer of Pop and we collected a dozen CDs to give away in the process. It's a great way to score some new music. These CDs have only been played a few times by myself and were given to me for review purposes, so if you are okay with the fact that they are not wrapped in cellophane, then please, enter today.
