It’s been over 15 years since Sara Groves entered the Christian music world and during that time, she has managed to produce 10 studio albums. (That’s producing one album and one fifth every year, if you do the math.) So, what does she do for a breather? She produces another album.

Available this week, Groves new “best of” album, “The Collection,” features 23 songs from her library and just kicks, added four new songs: "Strangely Ready," "Blessed Be The Tie," "Lay It Down" and "Kindness of Strangers."
Since Grove’s first release, people knew she was special.  During her journey, Groves has been nominated for a Dove Award three times, was named CCM’s Artist of the Year and received rave reviews from Billboard Magazine, Christianity Today and others.

More recently, Groves released new live performance videos from select songs off “The Collection” including “All Right Here” and "Blessed Be the Tie" shown below. This song is based on a hymn written by John Fawcett in the 1700’s. It just might be the only hymn written about Christian friendship which really resonated with Groves, especially the line, “Oh a kindred heart is like heaven above.” “That is a worthy thing to sing about for sure,” says Groves. “There’s something about a friend who knows you that is just very sweet.”

This fall, Sara will travel with her friends Andrew Peterson and Bebo Norman for the “In the Round Tour." The multi-city tour begins this month and continues through November. Ever the storyteller, Groves and company will be sharing stories from each of their latest releases.
