While some were surprised by the success of the 2011 Muppets return to the big screen, some of us were surprised that the film didn't do better than it did. Before the film came out, some critics felt that the Muppets have gone past their prime while others thought it was high time for their return. After such disappointing projects like the "Muppets Wizard of Oz" with Ashanti and Queen Latifah, "The Muppets" was a happy reunion for all of us. It didn't hurt that "The Muppets" was written by and starred Jason Segel too. It was his love for the furry creatures that helped make the film a reality. Talk immediately began about a possible sequel.

This week, Disney released the first trailer for "Muppets Most Wanted"" and it looks like we're in for more happy hijinks with the gang. While Segel is not involved this time around, our furry friends will share the screen with other funny people including Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell.

"Muppets Most Wanted" features Kermit and friends on a European tour of theaters performing their schick for the people of Berlin, Madrid and London. However, it wouldn't be a Muppet movie if their wasn't a huge wrench thrown in their plans. The Muppets will find themselves tangled up with Constantine, the World's Number One Criminal who looks a lot like Kermit and his sidekick, Dominic (Gervais). Fey plays Nadya, a prison guard and Burrell is Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.

"Muppets Most Wanted" won't arrive in theaters until March 2014, but you can watch the new trailer now!
