Young Artist Inspires Many Again in New Video

"The Parable of the Sower" is the latest creation to make it to YouTube.

Over two years ago, a little video called “My Own Little World” made its debut on YouTube for the world to see. It was a stop-motion animation project put together by Alyssa, a 15-year-old girl and promoted by her proud mama. The home-made video was made with over 350 still shots and created on a shoestring budget. “My Own Little World” features the song of the same name by Matthew West, who actually called Alyssa personally after he heard of the video.

Since that date, over 48,000 people have watched this video. Yesterday, Alyssa added a new video to her portfolio also promoted by her mother. “Another video by my girl!” she boasts on the NeedaLatte page.

The “Parable of the Sower” is much shorter than her first, and yet has a definite sophistication from someone who has been learning from their craft. The video tells the story of four seeds and their eventual fate found in Matthew 13. This time around, the video features “Beautiful Things” by The Michael Gungor Band.
