Zondervan debuts a clever contest

With today’s busy schedules and people’s short attention spans, the idea of fitting in a Bible reading session can seem like an insurmountable task. What if you could read whole books of the Bible in just five seconds? That’s the idea behind the 5 Second Bible Challenge contest happening now.

“The 5 Second Bible Challenge is a contest where users create a video depicting a Bible book or story in 5 seconds,” states the message on Zondervan’s Facebook page. Included here are three hilarious examples on the book of Genesis, Revelation and the Song of Solomon to give you inspiration.

The videos can be funny or serious but they have to short. If you’ve got You Tube skills, this is the contest for you. Entries must be kept to 5 seconds in length (not including a title card at the beginning and ending). You can enter up to 5 entries which must be Biblical in nature and must be received by January 31, 2013. Zondervan will pick five of the best videos to their “High 5.” If your video is selected, you’ll win an iPad!
