Website of the week: How it Should Have Ended

"How 'Jurassic Park' Should Have Ended" is featured on
HowItShouldHaveEndeded.com.

HowItShouldHaveEnded.com (HISHE) has been around since 2005 and yet many people are unaware of this gem.

It all began when Daniel Baxter and Tommy Watson returned home fromattending the movies and laughingly discussed various alternate endings.  Daniel proposed the idea of making short, parody animations of new endings to some of their favorite movies. Their first short was “How ‘Matrix Revolutions’ Should Have Ended.” Shortly after its’ completion, Tina Alexander, who previously worked with Daniel on some live action short films, joined the team.

The HISHE website was born in July 2005 and proved so popular that within a month they were featured on a nationally syndicated radio show twice and posted on several popular and highly trafficked websites.  The company was awarded "Best Internet Parody" for “How ‘Superman’ Should Have Ended” in the 2006 Scream Awards on Spike TV and was featured in an MTV® Comedy and Talent Showcase at the Hollywood Improv.

In 2009 HISHE joined forces with Starz Digital Media to produce brand new animation each month and in April of 2010; they won the Streamy Award for Best Animated Web Series!

The website itself features reviews of the latest movies, comics and other fun stuff. For the most part, the content on the site is considered “PG.” The stories are clever, very entertaining and a guilty pleasure for many.

Check out the animation for “How ‘Tangled’ Should Have Ended” featured here.(Be sure to watch to the end!) (Originally posted on Examiner.com)
